Wakaso made his Black Stars debut in late 2012 and has since been a core part of the senior national male football team of Ghana.
And Maccasio, his relative believes Mubarak Wakaso has really paid his due to Ghana football to enter into the records books of the nation as one of the greatest players the West African giants have ever witnessed.

"Wakaso is one of the greatest the nation has ever seen. He is one of the best. We are blessed and we are happy to have him in the family. Wakaso my brother," He told Pulse.com.gh.
Wakaso now plies his trade in Spain with Granada.
