Ex-Black Stars defender Isaac Vorsah joins Far Rabat

Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah has signed a two-year contract with AS Far Rabat until 2019, the club have confirmed.

Vorsah, 28 who was  one of Ghana's trusted defenders, suffered a career-threatening injury in 2013 and was sidelined for several years.

He terminated his contract with Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg few months ago following his loan spell with second-tier side FC Liefering.

Isaac Vorsah who was part of Black Stars team at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa has now completed a move to Far Rabat of Morocco in his quest to revive his career.

“We are pleased to announce the signing of Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah who joins us as a free agent,” a statement from Far Rabat read.

“He is very experienced and will help the club in all our activities this season. It is our hope that he will enjoy his stay here and gives out his maximum best for the growth of the club,” the statement added.

Vorsah has previously played fir Ghanaian clubs Gamba All Blacks and Asante Kotoko as well as German Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenhiem.
