Ibrahimovic switched from Adidas boots to old Nike to get his magic back

Zlatan Ibrahimovic played first half against Manchester City in new Adidas boots, but switched at half time back to old Nike and magicly regained his old form

After hitting the ground running at Old Trafford with five goals in his first five games, he has just ONE in nine since and has typified the struggles faced by Jose Mourinho‘s side.

And after enduring what Jamie Carragher described as one of Ibra’s ‘worst halves ever’, the Swede seemingly took out his frustration – on his boots.

The United forward began the game with Adidas cleats, or to be more specific, a pair of Adidas X Stellar’s.

He also wore these in the 4-0 demolition by Chelsea – where he was roundly criticised for looking uninterested and slow, whilst seemingly slipping over a lot.

And he emerged for the first half against City with that pair, only to ditch them at half time for his old Nike Mecurial’s.

Zlatan looked a different player, laying on the assist for Juan Mata’s winner and continually harrying the City defence.
