Gideon Baah bemoans injury woes

Gideon Baah has indicated that the series of injuries he suffered in his career has affected his progression

New York Red Bull defender,

The 25-year-old was sidelined for six months, after picking up an injury against Columbus Crew in the Major Soccer League (MLS)

He first major injury setback was in the 2010-11 season when he was at Kumasi Asante Kotoko and has since been injury prone, which has had a toll on his promising football career.

“My career has suffered a major setback, it hasn’t been easy, lots of surgeries and all that,” he told Starr FM.

“But I am still under rehab and hope to return very soon, it hasn’t been easy, I was hoping to thrive in the MLS in my first season but unfortunately the injury set in.

“Hopefully I will return stronger next season and do my best for the Club.”
