Jarvis Peprah urges Kotoko to apologise to Dr.K.K Sarpong

The ex-Kotoko CEO believes the Porcupine Warriors should apologize to the Dr. Sarpong to end the ongoing litigation

Jarvis Kofi Peprah has called on the hierarchy of Kumasi Asante Kotoko to render an unqualified apology to Dr. Kofi Kodua Sarpong who served as the Executive Chairman of the club from 2010 to 2013.

K.K Sarpong resigned from the Kotoko job as a wounded lion, after accusations from the club of embezzling funds, especially in relation to player transfers abroad.

However, following his resignation he presented audited accounts of the Porcupine Warriors that confirmed the club needed to balance him monies he loaned them to cover some transfers.

Dr. K.K Sarpong decided to resort to court action to retrieve the monies, after the board of Kotoko failed to indicate any payment plan to settle the debt.

The former Kotoko CEO Jarvis Peprah thinks the ongoing legal battle between Kotoko and the former Tema Oil refinery boss is not good for the club, so the powers there be at the Porcupine Warriors outfit should appologise to him for the humiliation he suffered.

“Dr. K.K Sarpong is not a difficult person, so Kotoko should appologise to him to withdraw the case from court, because it is not good for the club.

“It is even a deterrent to sponsorships, since most corporate bodies don’t want to associate themselves with club without much stability,” he told Hot FM.
