Kevin-Prince Boateng wins day for Las Palmas

The Ghana international scored the match winner as Las Palmas defeated Villarreal by a goal to nil on Friday night

Boateng, 30, jumped into the air to head home  a well taken cross from Dani Castellano in the 10th minute in unique fashion in the 10th minute.

Kevin-Prince Boateng came close to increasing his goal account in the day when he pounced on a faulty pass by a Villarreal defender, but he was held to the ground by Victor Ruiz on the 19th minute.

The 30-year-old’s goal put him on eight goals for the season, which is more than the highest he has scored in the league season in the last four years.
