Agent confirms Ghanaian will not join Chelsea

Asamoah has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge for months with reports suggesting Antonio Conte was keen to sign the Juventus winger.

Kwadwo Asamoah will not move to the Premier League this summer, according to his Edoardo Crnja.

Incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, who signed Asamoah for Juventus, is a big fan of the player and it has been claimed that he wants to take the midfielder to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Italian newspaper Gazzetta Sport claimed last month Roman Abramovich was willing to spend up to £20million to sign the 27-year-old.

And website CalcioMercatoWeb claimed the Premier League club had a 'verbal agreement' in place to sign the Ghana international.

However, Asamoah's agent Edoardo Crnja has now ruled out a move to Chelsea, claiming he will remain with Juve for the 2016/17 season.

"In Asamoah’s future, there is no Premier League because he will be staying at Juventus next season," Crnja told broadcaster SportItalia.

Asamoah has spent four seasons with Juve, winning the Serie A title every year, along with three Supercoppa Italiana and one Coppa Italia.
