Two Ghanaian players sign for Cyprus club

Samuel Kingston and Theophilus Mensah have completed their respective moves to Northern Cyprus side, Yalova SK

22-year-old Kingston, a central defender and 20-year-old Mensah, a striker have become the latest to join the Cyprus bandwagon barely a week after Kingston’s elder brother, Laryea also sealed a 6-month deal with another Northern Cypriot side, Gencik Gucu along with former Ashantigold defender, Daniel Addo.

The same agent who struck the deal for the 35-year-old former Black Stars winger and Addo, Tekin Birinci is also the one who secured the move for the young duo who are getting ready to begin the latest chapter of their professional career.

Until putting pen to paper for Yalova SK, young Kingston was playing for Accra based Ghanaian Division Two side, Bayonia FC whilst Mensah was banging in the goals for Ghana Immigration, also in Division Two.

Now they both hope to excel with Yalova in the hope of securing bigger and juicier moves at the end of the one-year deal.
