Las Palmas midfielder sets eye on Villarreal downfall

Boateng believes Las Palmas wiill win their first game in four games against Villarreal next weekend.

Las Palmas drew their third consecutive match on Friday night, but Kevin-Prince Boateng believes Los Amarillos will return to winning ways at the weekend and warned Villarreal that they'll be the ones to suffer.

After failing to beat Real Madrid, Osasuna and Espanyol, the Canary Island side are desperate to see off the Yellow Submarines at the Estadio El Madrigal next week Sunday.

Boateng posted on Twitter after their game against Espanyol: 'Next game we get the 3 points!! #piopio #prince7'

Las Palmas drew 2-2 with Espanyol at the Estadio de Gran Canaria, with Boateng missing his side’s best opportunities to score against the visitors.

His first of three key chances came in the 12th minute when he found space in the box to receive a pass but saw his shot stopped by goalkeeper Diego Lopez.

Lopez would stand between the 29-year-old and glory once more in the 48th minute as Boateng connected a cross with his head but the keeper was in good position to stop him. The third chance came 10 minutes later without luck for the former Ghana star.

Las Palmas now have 12 points after eight games.
