Ghana deserved semi-finals berth in 2010 World Cup

Kevin-Prince Boateng has stated Ghana should have reached the semi-finals of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Ghana were on the brink of reaching the semi-finals but were denied by Luis Suarez, who used his hand to prevent Adiyiah’s header from entering Uruguay’s net and Asamoah Gyan missed the resultant penalty kick.

Kevin-Prince Boateng who was an active member of the Black Stars in 2010 believes Ghana deserved a place in the semi-finals.

“After getting out of the group it was definitely our aim to reach the semi-finals. I think we deserved to as well, people could see how much passion there was in our game, we had the fans and the whole continent behind us,” the La Palmas new star told FIFA TV on Tuesday.
