Ghana striker prefers West Ham over Nice

According to French publication, L'Equipe, says French club Nice are moving for Ayew and hope to bring the former Marseille striker back to France.

Jordan Ayew wants to join West Ham instead of OGC Nice, according to sensational reports in France.

Ayew, 24, was one of Aston Villa’s star performers in the Premier League last season, and it was widely expected that he would leave following their relegation.

However, Ayew would prefer to remain in England, where West Ham are keen.

The Black Stars striker is reluctant to consider a move back to Ligue Une until he's heard from the Irons.

Ayew netted seven times in 30 appearances last term in the Premier League.

He was groomed in France at Olympique Marseille where he broke into the First Team before loan spells at Sochaux and Lorient.
