Rigobert Song is steadily recovering from stroke at the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital in Paris, according to reports from France.
Song was hospitalised on Sunday, October 2 after suffering a stroke at his home in Yaounde. Two days later, he was flown to France to continue his recovery.
This comes after controversy over the health of the former Cameroon national team captain surfaced, making football lovers across world panic.
In a statement from the doctors who operated him,the surgery done was to repair three aneurysms which believed to be the cause of the stroke.
The government of Cameroon is catering for Song’s medical bills and is beleived to be spending several millions of Central African Francs.
