Players of Sekondi Hasaacas have been paid two of their eight months unpaid salaries. The management of the club responded to the players boycott of training on Tuesday afternoon.
About 18 players [mostly old players] did not show up at the team’s training pitch at Chapel Hill following the failure of management paying the players their salaries since July 2015.
The management of Hasaacas however on Thursday showed commitment by making some payment to the playing body.
The full 30 man-squad is now in camp preparing for their weekend’s opening encounter with Wa All Stars on Sunday.
It is unclear, when the management of the club will settle the outstanding six months debt. The headache of the management is also compounded by the pressure of some players who are demanding a share of their signing on fees.
