The scientific soccer lads are optimistic this season is a season to make history in Ghana football

The assistant coach for Liberty Professionals, Felix Aboagye believes Liberty Professionals would be champions of the Ghana Premier League for the very first time in the anal of the club.

Liberty Professionals put up a vintage performance to earn an away league victory against Hasaacas, something which is rare, courtesy Bernard Arthur late minute goal on Sunday at the Essipong Sports Stadium.

Liberty Professionals, despite making their premier league debut in 1999 have never got closer to winning the topflight league.

However, Felix Aboagye is optimistic the Dansoman based side would rewrite history and have their name on the list of winners for the Ghana Premier League this season, following their 0-1 victory against Hasaacas.

“Any time we visit Hasaacas we don’t get good results, but this time around, we controlled the game and had the victory.

“I am promising everyone that we would be league champions this season. Sometimes we decide not to play in the top four or something like that, but this season we will win the league,” Felix Aboagye said in a post-match interview.
