Bubba Watson hopes to hit the sweet spot off the golf course after opening his first candy shop in Florida.

The two-time Masters champion is in the middle of a hectic schedule with the US PGA Championship starting two weeks after The Open.

Watson also has the golf tournament at Rio 2016 to prepare for, as well as the Ryder Cup to complete a busy couple of months.

However, it has not stopped the 37-year-old taking his first steps into business off the course, although he fears he may end up spending a lot of his own money in the shop.

"It's in Pensacola, Florida," he said when asked about his new venture. "It's called Bubba's Sweet Spot.

"It's a candy shop: fudge, ice cream, candy, things like that.

"Who doesn't like candy and fudge and ice cream. So I'm spending the most money in there."

Watson begins the US PGA alongside Jordan Spieth and Sergio Garcia on Thursday at Baltusrol Golf Club.
