Prince Boateng and Gyan on target, Ayew, Atsu and Rahman win plus more

Recap of the weekend's football games for Ghanaian Players Abroad.

Ismaeel Al Hamadi opening the scoring on the brink of half time for Al Ahli. Khalifa Ayil levelled it for Dibba Al Fujairah before Asamoah Gyan restored the lead for his team.

Goals from Kyung-Won Kwon and Lima rounded it up to give Al Ahli all the three points.

The Premier League champions won their home game against Crystal Palace by three goals to one. Ghanaian player Jeffrey Schlupp was an unused substitute.

Jordan Ayew and his Aston Villa team recorded another win in the English Championship in their game against Fulham. The Ghanaian played 86 minutes in the game before making way for Ashley Westwood.

Albert Adomah also made an appearance for Aston Villa replacing Rudy Gestede in the 55th minute of the game.

Christian Atsu and Newcastle United continued their quest to return to the English Premier League with a 3-0 home win against Ipswich Town. Atsu came off the bench in the 75th minute for his Championship club who are top of the log.

In the Spanish La Liga, Kevin-Prince Boateng scored a superb goal for Las Palmas against Valencia. The Ghanaian and his team however lost their lead to two goals from Valencia’s Nicola Sansone and Cedric Bakambu as Las Palmas were denied any point from the game.

Thomas Partey was not involved in Atletico Madrid’s La Liga game against Sevilla which they lost by a lone goal to nil.

In the Italian Serie A, Kwadwo Asamoah missed Juventus’ away defeat to AC Milan. The Ghanaian is still out injured.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu made a second half appearance for Udinese who won their home game against Pescara by three goals to one.

Godfred Donsah was an unused substitute in the 1-1 Italian Serie A game between Bologna and Sassuolo.

Ghanaian midfielder Afriyie Acquah did not also play a part for Torino in their Italian Serie A home game against Lazio. The two team shared the spoils in a four-goal thriller.

In Germany, Abdul Baba Rahman came from the bench to help Schalke 04 round up a 3-0 win against Mainz 05. The Ghanaian defender replaced Saed Kolasinic in the German Bundesliga game after 79 minutes of play.

Abdul Majeed Waris played the full game for FC Lorient in the French Ligue 1 when they travelled to Dijon. The Ghanaian and his team lost by a single goal to nil.

Frank Acheampong and his Anderlecht team lost in the Belgium league in their away game against Club Brugge. The Ghanaian played the full game in the 1-0 defeat.
