Kwadwo Asamoah made a substitute appearance for Italian Serie A champions Juventus in their home game against Lazio on Wednesday night. The Ghanaian midfielder replaced Paul Pogba in the 83rd minute. Juventus won the game by three goals without reply with Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala [2] scoring the goals.

Afriyie Acquah missed Torino’s 3-2 defeat away at Roma in the Italian Serie A. The Ghanaian player was left out of the squad that travelled to play Roma.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu shook off his injury to start the Italian Serie A game between Udinese and Fiorentina. The Ghanaian played in the entire duration of the game as his Udinese team won by two goals to one at home.

In the Spanish La Liga, Thomas Teye Partey started and played 62 minutes for Atletico Madrid in their 1-0 slender victory away from home to Athletic Bilbao. The win for Partey side kept them level on points with Barcelona who won their away game to Deportivo La Coruna by eight goals without reply.

Christian Atsu made a 72nd appearance for his Spanish La Liga team Malaga as they drew 1-1 at home to Raya Vallecano.

Ebenezer Assifuah played for his Sion team in the Swiss league on Wednesday night as they lost by two goals to one away from home.

Albert Adomah played in the entire duration of Middlesbrough’s game in the English Championship on Tuesday night. The Ghanaian and his team drew the game 1-1 away from home.

Godfred Donsah played seven minutes for Bologna as they were thrashed by six goals to nil in their Italian Serie A game against SSC Napoli.

In the French Cup, Abdul Majeed Waris played the full game for his FC Lorient team who were defeated at home by French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain. Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the only goal of the game in the 1-0 win for PSG.

Dutch -born Ghanaian player Timothy Fosu-Mensahwas an unused substitute for Manchester United in their 2-0 win against Crystal Palace at Old Tranfford on Wednesday night.
