Both teams went into the game from the backdrop of a win – Kotoko won 1-0 at Tema Youth while the Accra based side beat Chelsea 1-0.
Ageordome opened the scoring on 47 minutes for Olympics after finishing off a fine pass from Kotoko loanee Kwame Boateng.
But Saddick Adams, on his debut, ensured Steve Pollack maintained his unbeaten record as Kotoko coach as he restored parity from the spot on 72 minutes.
With 10 minutes left on the clock, Kotoko were reduced to ten men after goalkeeper Ernest Sowah was shown a red after he handled the ball outside the box.
