Second round to resume on June 25

The second round of the 2016 Ghana Premier League season to resume on June 25.

The first round of the domestic top-flight championship which started 20th January came to a closure last Sunday.

“The league is on break for three weeks, it will resumed on 25 June, all the clubs are aware of the second round date,” PLB PRO Tamimu Issah told Pulse.com.gh.

“Technically the first round of games ended last Sunday but on Wednesday there was some outstanding games that will be cleared.

“We were much impressed with the standard of play in the first round and we hope it continues in the second round,” he added.

After the first round of games, Wa All Stars top the log sheet with 28 points.
