Hearts of Oak are set to name Scottish technical brain Frank Nuttall, as the new head coach of the club.

The Phobians are at the moment coached by assistant coach of the club, Henry Wellington and is expected to sit on the technical bench when Hearts of Oak open the 2016-17 Ghana Premier League campaign in a mouthwatering tie against Inter Allies on Sunday at El Wak.

Frank Nuttall likely to seal a two-year deal with Hearts of Oak and help them to reclaim their past glory. They last won the Ghana Premier League in the 2008-09 season.

Nuttall had stints with Kenyan side Gor Mahia in 2014 and he is credited for propelling the club to greater heights.
