Asantehene backs Michael Osei for Kotoko job

The life patron of the Porcupine Warriors has told the playing body of the club to support the caretaker coach to succeed.

Asante Kotoko have had a poor run to the season, having won 1 in 6 games and are currently sitting at the bottom of the table, which is their worst performance after 6 games in the league.

The poor show has cost Coach David Duncan his job, as management has asked him to step aside for Michael Osei to take over the technical direction of the club.

And Otumfuo in order to calm down tempers at Kotoko has urged the playing body to back the interim coach to turn things around.

“I learnt there is a problem between the coach and management. That is not the problem of the players, they have to back the coach who has been brought in by management to succeed,” he told Kotoko faithful at the Adako Jachie.
