Liberty will compound Kotoko's problems - George Afriyie

"We are aware of what is happening in Kotoko, and Liberty Professionals will take advantage of that on Sunday" - George Afriyie

Asante Kotoko has lost three of their first six Ghana Premier League matches this season, forcing management to ask head coach David Duncan to 'step aside' for his assistant, Michael Osei.

But George Afriyie, Chairman of the club says Kotoko can't use them for a new bus.

"We are aware of what is happening in Kotoko, and Liberty Professionals will take advantage of that on Sunday," George Afriyie, who doubles as Black Stars Management Committee chairman told Happy FM.

"Nana promised the team a new bus if they win their next game, and that next game is against Liberty Professionals, but I can assure them Liberty is not a team they will use to get a new bus," he added.

Liberty Professionals have lost two of their three away matches and drawn one, and George Afriyie claim they are too good to lose to crisis stricken Kotoko.

"We have played three away matches, lost two and drawn one. But the management of WAFA will attest that Liberty are very good side. Liberty is the only team to have recorded a draw against Wa All Stars in Wa.

"Even when Kotoko were a good side, teams like Power FC often beat them. They should be ready for more problems after Sunday," he stated.
