Kotoko vs Bechem United in numbers
The Porcupine Warriors will be taking on the Bechem lads for the ninth (9) in the league, when they face off on Wednesday in Kumasi.

Asante Kotoko have scored 15 goals as against nine (9) by Bechem United in eight (8) league clashes.
Nathaniel Asamoah was the first player to score in Kotoko Bechem United league encounters in October, 2011. Kotoko defeated Bechem United 2-3.
Although, it was a home league game for Bechem United it was played in Kumasi, because the adopted home grounds for the Brong Ahafo side in their first half of the 2011-12 season.

The Porcupine Warriors have won three (3) and drawn one (1) of the four home league games played against the Brong Ahafo side.
Last season Asante Kotoko won the first-round fixture 1-0 at Bechem, but they were held to a goalless draw in Kumasi by the Hunter. They had earlier kicked the 23 times champions from the FA Cup, via penalty shootout in Kumasi, so the Bechem lads are undefeated in their last two visits to Kumasi.
Asante Kotoko have won one and drawn one of their two games thus far in the current season, whereas Bechem United are yet to kick a ball, since they were busily competing in the CAF Confederation Cup-which they suffered elimination in the group stage against MC Alger.

The marksman for Bechem United is Ahmed Toure, a former Kotoko striker, he scored twice for them in the two-leg affair against MC Alger, whereas Kotoko’s dangerman is Yakubu Mohammed, who gave them a win on the opening day with a brace against Liberty Professionals.
