Kotoko have mutually parted ways with Bennett Ofori after just a season at the club Kumasi giants, the club has confirmed.
Ofori joined Kotoko on a three-year deal from Berekum Chelsea last season but his performance was questionable during his days at the club.
Ahead of the upcoming season, Kotoko initial plan was to send the attacking midfielder on loan but both parties agreed to a contract termination.

“The midfielder was initially put on loan by the club but both parties have now agreed that, their contractual agreement be terminated. Management discussed with him and we agreed to terminate the contract," the club’s Communication Director Obed Acheampong told the club’s website.
The former Premier League champions have signed Baba Mahama as Ofori’s replacement.
In other related news, Ofori is in talks with Aduana Stars and he is likely to join the Ogya lads.
