Kotoko coach bemoans missed chances against Aduana Stars

Michael Osei rue the day for his side’s inability to beat Aduana Stars in the mid-week

The Porcupine warriors were settled for a goalless draw against the Aduana Stars on match day 25 of the Ghana Premier League at The Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi.

The hosts dominated play and had a goal disallowed but couldn’t translate it into goals.

Michael Osei has stated that his side were unfortunate not to have carried the day, but has commended his team for their play.

“We controlled the whole game, but is very unfortunate we couldn’t get all the three points. We did well in all departments of the game.

“Our back four did well that is why Yahaya Mohammed have his day. It is unfortunate that we didn’t take our chances. I still have to congratulate them for the performance they put up,” the former Black Stars player said after the game.
