Hearts of Oak's physio Okyere Baffuor resigns

Hearts of Oak's physiotherapist has resigned from the club as the Ghana Premier League kicks off.

Baffuor seized to be the club’s physiotherapist after tendering in his resignation letter last Monday prior to the club’s 2017 Ghana Premier League first game against Inter Allies.

“Okyere Baffuor is no more working with the club, he has resigned. He brought the letter to the club’s secretariat last Monday,” a source close to the club told Pulse.com.gh.

“The only thing he said in the letter is that he is resigning because of personal reasons, it is a decision he has taken and we have to respect it. Aliu Adjetey (Ozii Ozaa) who has been the club’s masseur for the past 15 years is still around.”

The source continued: “What we are thinking now is not Baffuor’s resignation but our weekend’s game against Medeama, we want to win that game, that match is our main focus.”

Baffuor joined the club’s backroom staff two years ago.
