Hearts of Oak fans plan massive demonstration against board members

Fans of Accra Hearts of Oak are not happy with two members of the board and are planning to demonstrate.

According to the supporters, the duo must be sacked from the team because they are the reason for the club’s failure to end their seven years league title drought after a blistering start to the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

“Sowah Odotei and Alhaji Akanbi are the reason why we have performed badly in the second round of league. On Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium our placards are ready, we are going to demonstrate against them because we don’t need them in the team,” a source close to the club’s National Chapters Committee (NCC) told Pulse.com.gh.

“We started the season very well under Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi but the two schemed against the coach and replaced him with Sergio Traguil who performed badly after taking over the job and he has been sacked. So we believed they are the cause of Hearts of Oak’s problem and Togbe Afede XIV who is the Board Chairman must sack them,” the source added.
