The eleven players that distinguished themselves on match day three

Kotei Blankson

The Inter Allies goalkeeper made several saves to secure his side the one important away point at Medeama, especially in the last 25 minutes, he had to make point blank saves to deny the hosts all the three points. Kotei Blankson’s performance was crowned with the man of the match award.

Osei Bonsu

The Berekum Chelsea right back was indeed the most outstanding player as his side edged Liberty Professionals 2-0. Osei Bonsu’s contribution to the attacking force of the the former league champions was amazing, coupled with his ability to recover to augment the defence won him the Man of the Match.

Sylvestre Adjin

The left full back of Gt. Olympics was deadly as he gave the defence of Elmina Sharks a lot of troubles with his overlapping and incisive crosses and his recovery rate was also superb.

Musah Mohammed

The Ebusua Dwarfs centre back was the toast of the numerous fans who trooped to the Cape Coast Stadium to watch their 1-1 draw against Hearts of Oak.  Musah Mohammed, affectionately called Puyol made a good work of Cosmos Dauda and Sam Yeboah who were in attack for the Phobians. No wonder the fans cheer him up in admiration of his play.

Ahmed Adams

The Asante Kotoko centre back was the initiator of the Kotoko attack and moreover he made three clearances that would have resulted in a goal to save Asante Kotoko in their crunchy tie against Bechem United.

Isaac Twum

The Inter Allies defensive midfielder bossed the midfield, as they held Medeama to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday against Medeama. Twum managed to win a lot of balls and was also accurate with his ball distributions.

Simon Zibo

The 19-year-old central midfielder for Liberty Professionals for the third consecutive match day impressed. Simon Zibo, who is niching a name for himself as a midfield general once again seized the central part of the park with his accurate passes, dribbles and runs and despite his side’s 0-2 defeat he was tipped for the man of the match award, but he lost it to Osei Bonsu of Chelsea who was equally good on the day.

Noah Martey

The Aduana Stars attacking midfielder stole the show when he scored and gave two assists as Aduana Stars hammered debutants, Bolga All Stars 4-0. He is now the assist king in the league with three. Noah Martey was named the man of the match.

Joseph Paintsil

The midfielder was incredible for Tema Youth in their 1-1 draw against Ashanti Gold. He got the opener for the hosts from the spot kick. Aside that his ball control, crosses and dribbles made the AshGold defenders to sweat and no wonder he was named the man of the match

Nicholas Gyan

The Ebusua Dwarfs playmaker was the main source of threat to Hearts of Oak in the game. He created opportunities and managed to maintain possession for his side.

Abel Manomey

The Olympics striker unlike Seth Appiah who scored a penalty and connected a ball into an empty pole for Berekum Chelsea, scored a brace and also contributed effectively to total team play to win the man of the match in Olympics 2-2 draw  against Elmina Sharks
