He was first in the air and also neutralised the attacking threat of the leading top scorer in the league, Ahmed Toure. He stole the show at the Bechem Park and it wasn't surprising he won the man of the match.
Samad Ibrahim
The Ashanti Gold centre back was right with his timing, ball reading and interception. Samad Ibrahim kept Bernard Arthur and Papa Arko, the two strikers of Liberty Professional out of the game. He was named the man of the match
Ibrahim Yusif
He made it difficult for Samudeen Ibrahim and Malik Akowuah in midfield for Hearts of Oak. His interception and control were superb. He crowned the day with the goal that won Tema Youth all the three points.
Joseph Amoah
He marshaled the midfield well for Bechem United. He was good at controlling the midfield and his balls found the target men upfront
Akwesi Donsu
The Medeama central midfielder bossed the midfield and he was at his best with his ball control and distribution. Akwesi Donsu was confident moving forward.
Joseph Paintsil
The Tema Youth attacker tormented Accra Hearts of Oak and he was a thorn in the flesh of the likes of Vincent Atinga and Inusah Musah. He registered the match opener and gave the assist that won the Harbour boys the game.
Emmanuel Gyamfi
The Kotoko wingman continued his fabulous form for the season in his sides 1-0 win against WAFA. He produced about four goalscoring opportunities and his superb runs made the Academy boys sweat. Gyamfi emerged as the man of the match for the fifth time this season.
Nicholas Gyan
He was mobile on the field and created a lot of space in the attacking area. He occasionally moved backwards to support the midfield when they came under attack. He also scored the goal that denied the hosts from taking all the three points that was at stake, with a stunner.
