Fatau Alhassan

The shot-stopper made several important saves to protect the goal area of Liberty Professionals and hadn't been him the Scientific Soccer lads would have conceded more than one goals against Bechem United on Sunday.

Godfred Saka

He was amazing at the right back position for Aduana Stars. His overlapping runs were unbearable for the Hearts defence coupled with his incisive set pieces. Godfred Saka gave the two assists for Aduana Stars when they defeated Hearts of Oak 2-0.

Abdul Bashiru

The former Dreams FC defender's work rate was evident as his new side Bechem United piped Liberty Professionals 1-0. Bashiru made a lot of runs at the left back position for Bechem United. He made good tackles and his crosses gave the Liberty Prof defence much worry.

Wahad Adams

He put up a good show to prevent Emmanuel Akuoko who wasn't match fit for the tie due to lack of playing time from being exposed and in the end managed  to put the Hearts of Oak attack at bay.

Samuel Sarfo

The skipper of Liberty Professionals protected his backline by defending effective to block several balls and neutralise the attacking threats of Ahmed  Toure.

David Abagna

The defensive midfielder won the midfield battle as his side defeated Inter Allies 1-0. He destroyed the pattern of play of Inter Allies and his ball distribution was excellent.

Braimah Mohammed

He was the boss in midfield for Berekum Chelsea. Mohammed masterminded AshGold's fall at Berekum. He intercepted several balls and his accurate passes opened enough spaces in the AshGold defence to create opportunities for the hosts. He electrified the place by scoring a long range ball to complete a day of thrilling display.

Noah Martey

The former Bechem United's attacking midfielder was the heart of the Aduana Stars midfield and his creativity created problems for Hearts of Oak. Martey's passes and creativity were impressive on the day and it wasn't surprising he won the man of the match award.

Emmanuel Gyamfi

The Asante Kotoko wingman continued his impressive run of form this season against debutants Elmina Sharks and was a thorn in the flesh of their defence. Gyamfi emerged as the saviour of the Porcupine Warriors when he scored in added time to give them all the three points at home.

Michael Kporvi

The Tema Youth  striker tormented the defence of Bolga All Stars throughout the game and crowned it a brace to win the day for the Harbour boys. Kporvi was named the man of the match.

Stephen Sarfo

He made the headlines by scoring two of the five goals registered by Berekum Chelsea, as they demolished AshGold 5-1 on Sunday.
