AshGold earn a point against Dreams FC

The defending league champions settled for a 1-1 draw against the hosts Dreams FC

Dreams FC went into the lead through Abeiku Ainooson’s goal from the spot-kick, before the Miners drew level through Shafiu Mumuni to end the first half.

The second half failed to produce any goal, as the two sides earned a point each.

Ashanti Gold have lost just a game in the second round and won 3, which is far better than first round abysmal display that pushed them to the drop zone at a point.

The defending champions have drawn 15 games, which is more than any outfit this season.

Meanwhile, Dreams FC who have been impressive throughout the season have their firepower curtailed in the past two games: lost to Kotoko in Kumasi before the drew against AshGold.
