League leaders Aduana Stars’ suffered their first defeat in the ongoing Premier League season after losing 2-1 to Ebusua Dwarfs on Saturday.

The Fire Boys went two goals down at half time before Tanko Mohammed, who had come on for Richard Mpong on the hour mark, pulled one back 17 minutes from time at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Two goals from in-form striker Nicholas Gyan and another from Osman Mohammed were enough to hand Dwarfs the maximum three points at Cape Coast stadium.

Aduana however remain top of the log with 17 points but risk being overtaken should second-placed Asante Kotoko who have same points manage to avoid defeat in Sunday’s Super Clash against arch-rivals Hearts of Oak in Accra.
Ebusua Dwarfs, with their famous win, move to 8th place on 11 points.
