Hearts to play Aduana in final, Kotoko face Bechem for third place

The Phobians will take on Aduana Stars in the final of the 2016 G6 tournament, while Asante Kotoko will play Bechem United in the third-place play-off on Sunday.

Hearts of Oak are without a win, but have managed to reach the final of the competition, via penalty shootout victory against their archrivals, Asante Kotoko after their semi-finals game ended one all in Kumasi last weekend: The Phobians who were drawn in the same group with Aduana Stars lost 0-1 against the Dormaa Boys and drew 1-1 against Medeama to finish second in the group with a superior goal difference against Medeama.

Aduana Stars have won all their three games thus far: beat Hearts of Oak 1-0, before hammering Medeama 2-0 and crowned it with a 1-0 victory against Bechem United to reach the final, so they are yet to concede a goal in the competition.
