Waris picks up injury in Lorient's defeat

Majid Waris picked up an injury when PSG were handed his side Lorient on Wednesday in the French Ligue.

The 25-year-old was pulled out of the game in the 42 minute, after his coach handed him starting place, despite suffering from pelvis injury, before the game. He was replaced by Jimmy Cabot.

Majid Waris has been in good run of form, having scored in consecutive games before Lorient’s 0-5 defeat against PSG awarded as the club’s player of the Month for November.

The medical team of Lorient are yet to take a scan to access the extent of the injury, but there are reports that it is not a serious injury, so he will return to the field very soon.
