Two Black Starlets players set for trials at Arsenal and Liverpool

Two players from Ghana’s Black Starlets squad that participated in the just-ended Under-17 World Cup are set for trials with two of England’s big clubs.

Ibrahim Sulley and Emmanuel Gyamfi, both key players for the Starlets, are set for trials with Liverpool and Arsenal respectively, as they look to develop further.

The duo are actually rated as two of Ghana’s brightest prospects at the moment, having starred at the youth tournament in India.

The representative of both players, James Dzandza, also revealed that some of Europe’s elite clubs are after his clients, but is cautious on which club he should offer them to.

According to him, the development of the duo is paramount, adding that he does not want his clients to make bad career choices.

"The both played very well and we have received a lot of offers from Spain, Germany and England but we are reviewing them to see the place that can help develop them better,"James Dzandza told Graphic Sports. "We have learnt a lot from young African players rushing into big European clubs and not getting the opportunity to develop."

Ghana failed to lift a third Under-17 World Cup trophy after falling to Mali in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
