Uganda prepare for Black Stars test on Friday

The Cranes are desperate to continue their run of good form against Ghana in recent times

The Cranes of Uganda have begun preparations for their crucial World Cup qualifier against the Black Stars of Ghana.

The team led by its coach Milutin "Micho" Sredojovic arrived in the Togolese capital,Lome, on Monday after which they held a light training session at the Kegue stadium.

Twenty-two members of the team trained with only star goalkeeper Dennis Onyango yet to report to the camp.

Uganda are currently riding a wave of good form after qualification for the country's first AFCON competition since 1978.

The Cranes will face the Hawks of Togo in a friendly game on Tuesday as part of the preparations for the match against the Black Stars of Ghana .

Uganda have not lost to Ghana in their last two matches,drawing in Ghana and then winning in Kampala during qualification for the 2015 AFCON in Equatorial Guinea.
