Black Stars players booed by Kumasi fans

The enthusiastic Kumasi fans who trooped to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to watch the Black Stars put up a shambolic performance against the Red Devils of Congo poured out their anger on the team.

Black Stars players instead of receiving a heroic departure from the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi were rather booed by the fans who spent their vital time to support a team that could only put up a poor showing.

Ghana conceded a first half goal against the Red Devils of Congo in the early minutes and they could only respond with the equaliser with about ten minutes to end proceedings.

The Stadium which was full to capacity with individuals and a supporters groups were down hearted after the one all draw and they expressed their dissatisfaction at the performance of the team by booing them before their bus drove off from the stadium.

The Black Stars will jet off to Congo where they will take on the Red Devils in the reverse fixture of their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Ghana as it stands are rocked bottom of group E and would need only a miracle to qualifier for the 2018 FIFA World Cup to be staged in Russia- they have two points from three games and there are three more games to play.
