The Accra Sports stadium will be the venue when the Phobians host Kotoko for the first ‘Super Clash’ of the season.

The Porcupine Warriors are slight favourites ahead of the encounter, having opened an eight-point gap ahead of their rivals.

However, matches of this nature have proved not to follow any form guide, with the clash expected to serve as a big test for both teams.

Former Ghana president, John Agyekum Kufuor has also had his take on who is best placed to carry the day. According to the former Head of State, his biases towards Kotoko means he will be supporting them on Sunday.

While on a visit to the family of late Ghanaian coach, Sam Ardey, Kuffour took time off to give his take on the historic clash.

"Between Kotoko and Hearts over the years, anytime the two clash it is a clash of titans; spiritual matches, so it tends to be very difficult to predict who is going to win," Kuffuor said.

"But I will tell you on my side I am biased, Kotoko runs in my blood and so, Sunday I expect Kotoko will beat Hearts that's all".

Kufuor, who earlier in the week declared his support for Kotoko, once served as a management member of the club in the early 80s.
