The quality of the newly built Papa Kwesi Nduom stadium was brought into question after parts of the stadium was ripped apart following a huge storm of Sunday.
Dr. Nduom grateful no injuries were recorded
The Elmina Sharks bankroller is relieved to know that no casualties were recorded following a rainstorm that ripped apart the roof of the club’s stadium.

Fortunately, the collapse came in the aftermath of Elmina Sharks’ Ghana Premier League clash with WAFA SC on Sunday.
And Dr. Nduom was relieved to learn that no player of fan got injured.
In a Facebook post the 2016 presidential candidate of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) said plans are already underway to ascertain the cause of the stadium’s collapse, while assuring that “the safety of the people remains our guiding principle.”
Dr. Nduom wrote on his timeline: “Thanks to God! I am just thankful, the strong rainstorm that blew the roof off our stadium in Elmina happened after the Sharks match with WAFA FC.

“The fans and players had left to go home. There are no injuries to report. We are lucky for and I am grateful for that. Technical people have been assembled to determine why the roof and all the trusses could be blown away like that.
“We will ensure that end up with the best solution. The safety of the people remains our guiding principle.”
Elmina Sharks lost 2-1 at home to league leaders WAFA on Sunday.
