The 22-year-old came through the ranks of the Lyon youth academy and has developed into a key figure at the Ligue 1 giants since making his first-team debut in August 2013.
He has hinted his future could lie elsewhere, though, as he set his sights on a move abroad.
"There are a lot of clubs that make me dream like Real Madrid, Barcelona or an English club like Arsenal," Tolisso told France Football.
"I like the Premier League and I think it's a league that suits me.
"The Premier League is the most competitive, the most open and the most spectacular league."
Tolisso was close to joining Napoli during the off-season, but eventually opted to stay put at Lyon and he has no regrets over his decision to snub a move to Serie A.
"I had some doubts about whether to stay at Lyon or not when Napoli came knocking, but I have already turned the page," he added.
"My priority was to have a good season with Lyon once I made the decision to reject Napoli.
"I made a decision from the heart. I know there would have been advantages had I gone there, but Lyon is not about money."
