Frank Nuttal’s charges had gone on a seven-game unbeaten streak to emerge as title contenders, however, a run of three loses in their last five games has led to Hearts quickly falling off the pace.
Consecutive loses against Ashanti Gold and Bechem United also mean that the Phobians have now been overtaken by bitter rivals Asante Kotoko on the table.
However, their coach believes the club can still recover to win the league despite their current poor form.

“We are definitely still in the title race. We still have our fighting spirit and we played well away from home,” Frank Nuttal said, adding that “but for an individual mistake who knows what the result would’ve been. So we live to fight another day.”
Hearts of Oak will next play against Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday.
