Elmina Sharks pick up first ever point

The Paa Kwesi Nduom-owned side won their first ever top tier point in a thrilling away game against returnees Great Olympics

Elmina Sharks recorded their first ever point in the Ghanaian top flight when they fought to earn a 2-2 draw against Great Olympics on Match day two of the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League.

Sharks, who controversially lost their first game 1-0 at home to Aduana Stars over the weekend, impressively clawed their way back from a two goal deficit at the Accra Sports Stadium, denying Olympics a home win.

Goals from Samuel Arthur and Joseph Mensah helped the away side to cancel out a brace scored by Oly Dade's talented Abel Manomey.

Elsewhere at the Berekum Golden City Park, another brace - this time from Seth Larbi Appiah - made sure home side Berekum Chelsea saw off Liberty Professionals 2-0.
