Asamoah Gyan watches Kotoko's 3-1 win over Medeama

The 31-year-old was spotted in the stands with his father and elder brother, Baffour Gyan, as the home side defeated Medeama 3-1.

Asamoah Gyan spent his Sunday afternoon at the Baba Yara sports stadium to witness the Ghana Premier League match between Asante Kotoko and Medeama on Sunday.

Gyan, who received a honorary doctorate from a Ukrainian University at a ceremony at KNUST on Saturday, decided to watch the crunch match at the Baba Yara sports stadium.

The Black Stars captain has admitted on numerous occasions that he is a staunch supporter of the Porcupine Warriors, and just in June, he reiterated his desire to play for Kumasi-based club before he hangs his boots as a professional footballer.

Gyan told Hot FM: "I have always said i will play for Kotoko before i retire,even if it is just a game, i have been a Kotoko fan since i was young and my dad too is a strong Kotoko fan."
