Jeffrey Schlupp believes Crystal Palace will escape relegation

The Ghanaian international believes his club has what is takes to battle their way out of relegation.

Sam Allardyce’s side has endured a tough season so far, and currently sit 15th on the league log.

However,  Schlupp, who joined Crystal Palace from Leicester City in January, insists the club has what it takes to beat the drop.

According to the Ghanaian, the club’s 2-2 draw with champions Leicester city last week is testament to the fact that they can gather enough points to stay in the league.

"It's definitely another point in the right direction. We were 2-0 down against a good team like Leicester who have had good form recently so for us to come back from 2-0 down to get a point is a positive,” Schlupp told the Croydon Advertiser.

"We feel like we conceded some sloppy goals and we created chances, but it's another point - we'll take the positives out of the game and go again.

"We've got some hard games coming up but I feel like we've got enough to get some results and get some more points on the board."

Crystal Palace currently lay just seven points above the relegation places and will need to put up a strong showing to beat the drop come the end of the season.
