Ghana international Frank Acheampong has disclosed that he is open to moving to England, insisting it has always been his dream to play in the English Premier League.

Acheampong enjoyed a successful 2016/17 season, playing a key role in Anderlecht’s romp to the Belgium title.

The 23-year-old has already spent four years with the Belgian giants and has made over 100 appearances across all competitions.

The former Berekum Chelsea player was the subject of a bid from Hull City last season, however, Anderlecht opted to keep him.

Acheampong believes a future move to the English topflight could still be on the cards, adding that it will be a dream to see it happen.

“It's everybody's dream to play in the English Premier League," Acheampong is quoted as saying by the BBC. He added that: "We are just working on it and let's pray that I get what I want. It's my dream, it's my first priority.

Frank Acheampong has been a part of the Black Stars set-up since 2013, and will be hoping that his next move enhances his chances of nailing down a place in the starting line-up.
