Hearts were beaten by two goals to one by Tema Youth on Wednesday – a result that all but dents their title hopes this season.

A return of just two wins in their opening seven league games has seen fans criticize the performances of the side, with head coach Frank Nuttal particularly under pressure.

However, the frustrations of the fans were taken to new heights after the club’s latest setback in the league.

In the aftermath of the side’s 2-1 loss Tema Youth, some unruly fans jeered the team bus as it conveyed the players out of the stadium. Others stood at the main entrance, hurling objects at both players and officials in a bid to register their displeasure.

The incident could have gotten worse had the bus not sped off to avoid further abuse from the fans.

Hearts of Oak play eternal rivals Kotoko on Sunday, in what could be a season defining encounter.
