Coach of Asante Kotoko, Steve Polack says he wants to build a team that plays like English giants Manchester United, having been impressed with the Red Devil’s performances against West Ham last week.

Kotoko coach Steve Polack wants his side to emulate the ruthlessness shown by the English giants when they face lower tier side Nea Salamina in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
Speaking to the media ahead of the clash, Polack said: “I watched their [Manchester United’s] 4-0 victory over West Ham and I was so impressed and that is how I want to build my team. And teams facing Kotoko must prepare well.

“We are ready for the FA Cup match against Nea Salamina on Wednesday. Every team playing Kotoko [must] take it as final.
“I have spoken to my players who went on national duty and they are ready for the Wednesday encounter.”
The Porcupine Warriors played out a 1-1 draw with rivals Hearts of Oak last time out, and will now be hoping to secure passage into the semi-final of the FA Cup.
