Ebusua Dwarfs host Hearts of Oak in Cape Coast

Hearts of Oak in their last game were held to a pulsating goalless draw game at home by Medeama while Dwarfs lost 2-0 at WAFA.
The last time Hearts of Oak played Dwarfs at the Robert Mensah Stadium was a Ghana Premier League game which ended scoreless.

After match day two, Hearts of Oak is now at the 11 position with two points, while Ebusua Dwarf’s position on the log sheet is 9 with three points.
Ahead of the game, Hearts of Oak left-back Joshua Otoo has told Pulse.com.gh, that their aim is to pick the three points.
“We have to beat Dwarfs for the three points, it is a must win situation because if not pressure will be on the team.
"Since the league started we are yet to win a game and our supporters are not happy, Dwarfs is not a cheap but we will do everything within our power to pick the three points.”

But Dwarfs shot stopper Frank Andoh has fired a stern warning at Hearts of Oak.
“Hearts of Oak should be wary of our threat, we will beat them on Wednesday, we know Hearts of Oak very well so we will beat them,” Andoh told Pulse.com.gh.

Hearts of Oak have engaged Ebusua Dwarfs 16 times since 1999. Hearts have won 6 times as against Dwarfs 7 with 3 games ending in a draw.
In their 15 meetings, 30 goals have been scored, the Cape Coast based club leading the pack with 16 goals against Hearts’ 14.
