Players of Hearts of Oak have been given a huge financial boost after management of the club settled all outstanding salaries owed them.

Reports in the local media had suggested that Frank Nuttal’s charges had not been paid for the past four months, leading to speculations of player unrest.
However, it appears management of the club has taken major steps to settling all outstanding bonuses owed players.
According to the PRO of the club, Kwame Opare Addo, all monies owed players have already been paid into their accounts.

In an interview with Asempa FM, Opare said: “Togbe Afede XIV (the Board chairman of Hearts of Oak) has paid the salaries owed the players, the money will reflect in the players’ account on Tuesday.”
Hearts of Oak currently lie third on the Ghana Premier League table – just four points below table-toppers WAFA.
