“I think this game can go for 1-0 and it will go for Egypt, more than one goal will be difficult so it be a good game.”

On the Pharaohs’ preparations ahead of next month’ duel, the former Zamalek goal protector said:

“Preparations is fine. I think we have good preparations. We have new generation and I think we can go far. I think that we have a good chance to qualify for the World Cup but I think is not an easy group.

“Uganda drew 0-0 with Ghana and that is why we have to respect all the teams in the group and looking at everything I think Egypt and Ghana, one team is the favourite side to qualify for the World Cup,” he concluded.

Egypt currently top the Group with three points after beating Congo Brazzaville 2-1 in the first World Cup game in the Group, whilst Ghana and Uganda have one point each after both battling for a draw.
